Released on = February 10, 2006, 10:23 am

Press Release Author = Rob Sargeant

Industry = Entertainment

Press Release Summary = Google video posted a segment author Rob Sargeant’s video
journal, shot while in Galilee, Israel, in June, 2004.

Press Release Body = For Immediate Release:

Google video posted a segment author Rob Sargeant’s video journal, recorded while in
Galilee, Israel, in June, 2004. This was where Sargeant was inspired to write his
novel \"LOST ARK FOUND\" (Currently a best selling children\'s action/adventure book on
www.bestwebbuys.com).

Inspiration for Rob Sargeant\'s story came during leisure time while he toured
ancient ruins, and biblical sights around Lake Tiberius. \"I took two trips to places
near the Galilee and the Dead Sea,\" says Sargeant. \"I was privileged to have local
guides on both occasions. One Israeli guide, who took us to Massada, had worked with
an archaeologist for several years searching for the Ark of the Covenant. He told me
of his adventures one day in July while we drove across the hot Negev Desert on
safari - These trips definitely helped to get the creative wheels rolling.\"

The novel, Lost Ark Found, follows the adventures of a group of teenagers, led by a
grandfather and a mountain man hermit as they hunt for treasure in the mountains of
Vancouver Island, B.C.. Following clues, and maps recorded in a three hundred year
old journal, they solve riddles, overcome obstacles, discover a mountaintop
Aboriginal temple – and end up making one of the greatest archaeological finds of
the century - They discover the lost Ark of the Covenant.

Since his videos were posted on Google Video Sargeant has been sorting through the
growing number of other free documentaries offered on site and has posted his
recommendations on http://robsargeant.blogspot.com. Having the documentary blogspot
has helped Sargeant to organise his video favourites found in the growing collection
of free programs available at Google Video. Some of Rob Sargeant’s favourites were
created by students.

“I like the cinema veritie’ style of documentary, with the shaky cameras and gritty
sound tracks.” Says Sargeant. “When the footage looks like it was hard to get, it
makes it much more believable, less staged.”

There are a number of quality free documentaries offered on Google Video, with new
ones added daily. Most appear without much fanfare. This is provides a level playing
field for the undiscovered talent out there. With a variety of low cost digital
production options now available – thanks to Google Video - those filmmakers with
good ideas and tenacity have a better chance at finding an audience for their
productions.

bio: Author, Rob Sargeant resides on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada, working at the
19 Wing Comox, Air Force Base. He wrote most of \"LOST ARK FOUND\" while serving for
six months in 2004 as a United Nations Peacekeeper in the Middle East ( Israel/Syria
). He is married and has two sons.
