Press Release Body = Board game publisher, Matt Taylor, is concerned that oversights
in pandemic planning will place families at risk. Taylor says, “Unless rectified,
these oversights will lead to an increase in suicide and domestic violence.”
Taylor doesn\'t believe that authorities worldwide have given enough consideration to
the social problems likely to arise from long term isolation, or the pressures
families will be under when the electricity, TV, computer, telephone and other
services now taken for granted come to a grinding halt.

“Families need to do more than simply stockpile food, water and first aid kits”,
says Taylor. “In isolation, many people will suffer from fear, anxiety, and boredom.
They must be educated on how to protect their mental health as well as their
physical health.

Isolation may well be the best defense for families in a pandemic but isolation will
put immense strain on family relationships which in turn will create the ideal
climate for a upsurge in domestic violence.” A solution that Taylor recommends is
that families also start stockpiling a supply of stimulating activities such as
books, board games, and toys that will keep everyone happily entertained in
isolation.

Taylor who publishes his board game Breakscore on-line through his web site
www.breakscore.com says, \"To help families in this situation I have just reduced the
price of Breakscore® by 25% and I challenge other publishers to follow suit. In
times like this, business should not be about profit, but about community.”
