We The People store. The formerly corporate-owned WTP Oakland has been in operation
since February 2005. After assisting in its management upgrade, the Schaafs decided
to purchase it when it became available.

“Each We The People [office] has its own personality. Here in Oakland, customer
service is number one. We go the extra mile to assist our customers in providing
information that may help them in their situation even if they can’t use [us] at
that time. We know they’ll be back!” JD Davy, Manager for We The People Oakland,
explains, “We The People Oakland values its customers and is developing itself into
a community resource center where business cards of past customers are displayed and
recommended for their services. [We are] developing a significant amount of repeat
business and referrals. Must be doing something right!”
