Gary Bremermann to speak at Tokyo Career Fair

Released on = October 31, 2006, 8:48 am

Press Release Author = David Wright / W 3 Group LLC

Industry = Management

Press Release Summary = Gary Bremermann, executive recruiter, to speak at Tokyo
Career Fair 2006 on Wednesday, Nov. 1 2006 at the Toranomon Pastoral.

Press Release Body = For Immediate Release

October 31, 2006 (Tokyo, Japan and Atlanta, GA USA)
The Tokyo Career Fair 2006 is a unique mix of a community event and job event
offering tangible value to both bilingual candidates and Tokyo\'s top employers. For
more information and to register, visit http:// www. tokyocareerfair.com.

Gary Bremermann’s discussion will address specific issues in how bilingual
candidates can effectively use recruiters to change companies and careers. Through
his work in recruitment in Japan he has observed that many candidates are unfamiliar
with working with recruiters and that there is a fundamental disconnect in
expectations between recruiters and candidates. By helping candidates better
understand how recruiters work he hopes to make the process work for both sides.

Gary says “Western-style recruitment in Japan is still in the “frontier days” and
widely misunderstood. I want to help bridge the gap in understanding to enable
companies to identify, qualify and hire the right people while empowering candidates
to successfully manage and build their careers.”

Gary Bremermann is a Tokyo-based recruiter at Robert Leonard Consulting Ltd.
specializing in mid- to senior level bilingual advertising and marketing
professionals. Gary is also a contributing author of the new book, Get A Job! Your
Guide to Making Successful Career Moves, by David B. Wright. Gary can be contacted
through his website at http:// www. garybremermann.com where he offers a free report
“10 Tips for Working with Executive Recruiters.”

David B. Wright’s book, Get A Job! Your Guide to Making Successful Career Moves, is
available both as a paperback and as an e-book at http:// www. TheGetAJobBook.com.
