Press Release Author: Carol Upton

Industry: Non Profit

Press Release Summary: World-renowned Canadian Artist Liz Mitten Ryan, Author of One
with the Herd: A Spiritual Journey to appear at Equine Voices Fundraiser and support
their rescue efforts.

Press Release Body: Liz Mitten Ryan, World-renowned Canadian Artist-Equine
Communicator and Author of One with the Herd: A Spiritual Journey will appear at the
Equine Voices Fundraiser in Tucson on Saturday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The mission of Equine Voices – saving Premarin (PMU) mares and foals from slaughter
– resonates strongly with Ms. Mitten Ryan. She has already used the sale of her
stunning artwork to benefit animal welfare groups around the world. Now, she will
travel to Tucson to sell her book at the fundraiser and wholeheartedly support the
work of Equine Voices Rescue.

One with the Herd: A Spiritual Journey is already capturing hearts all across North
America. It is a finalist in the U.S.A. National Best Books 2007 Awards. This
visionary work is an intimate record of one woman’s journey with her semi-wild
horses – yet it has broad implications for the repair of all our lives. The text is
enriched by Mitten Ryan’s original artwork, poetry, photographs and journal entries.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the author, support Equine Voices Rescue and
enhance your own unforgettable journey.

Visit Mitten Ryan and the herd at www.onewiththeherd.com - then visit in-person on
March 8 at Horse Haven Equestrian Centre in Tucson. Call Karen Pomroy at
520-398-2814 or visit www.equinevoices.org for more information about this very
special fundraising event for the horses.
