5K Walk All Over Cancer Walk-a-thon event that reaches into the community to bring
together neighbors, friends, co-workers, and families to celebrate those who have
survived cancer and to remember those who have not. It is a festival, a family
event, a volunteer driven activity that offers everyone to participate in the fight
against cancer— it is about a community and surrounding areas that takes up the
fight.

Come on out to the Walk All Over Cancer Annual 5k Walk-A-Thon & Multi-Cultural
Festival Saturday, April 19, 2008, The Walk starts at Jessie Owens Park (9651
Western Ave - corner Century & Western) 8:00 am check-in, walking will begin at 9:00
am and ends at Ted Watkins Park ( 1335 E. 103rd St. ). There will be a free shuttle
to and from the park. Walk All Over Cancer is heightening public awareness about
Cancer and raising money to fund our scholarship program. These scholarships will
benefit youth and young adults that are affected by this disease. The Free
Multi-Cultural Festival begins at 10am at Ted Watkins Park. The event includes
education resources, health screenings, job vendors, recreational organizations,
live entertainment, free refreshments, Children\'s Village with creative
child-friendly activities, and fun for all ages! We will also have a memorial for
all loved ones who passed away from this disease. For more info or to register for
