Liz Mitten Ryan, Artist, Equine Communicator and Author of One with the Herd: A Spiritual Journey has won a Silver Nautilus Book Award (Animals/Nature), a Silver Independent Publisher Award (Best Regional Canadian Non-Fiction), and a Bronze Independent Publisher Award (Animals/Pets). Mitten Ryan was also a finalist in the 2007 USA Best Book Awards in the New Age Non-Fiction Category. She was presented with her awards at Book Expo America in Los Angeles on June 1, 2008.
