Embracing Memory Loss to Give Hope To Millions

Press Release Summary: The Village at East Farms is hosting an Alzheimer\'s Community
Caregivers Support Group on August 6 and August 12.

Press Release Body: Waterbury, CT -- Millions of Americans live with or have a loved
one with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory-impairing conditions. To better
understand and treat these diseases, The Village at East Farms is hosting an
Alzheimer’s Community Caregivers Support Group. The program is held at 6 p.m. on the
first Wednesday of the month and at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at The
Village at East Farms, 180 Scott Rd., Waterbury, Connecticut.

Each month, an activity coordinator from The Village at East Farms will direct
educational and helpful discussions on such topics as current treatment, research,
family dynamics, handling challenging behaviors and enhancing communication.
