Dilli Dandiya - the magic sticks - an evening of music, color and dance!!!

Press Release Summary: The festival season is on and the preparations are on a high,
each & everyone is looking for some kind of happenings, where they can enjoy and
groove to rhythmic tunes. Like every year the Navaratra celebrations were celebrated
with full dedication towards Goddess Durga. Although various cultural activities
were organised but a very different kind of event was held by PACE Events at Sainik
Farms, New Delhi. Entitled "Dilli Dandiya - The Magic Sticks", the program was
fulfilled with lots of masti, maza and enjoyment. The Dandiya fever was not over yet
for the people and the program also had some enthralling dandiya beats all night
along. The event marked the end of 'Navratras' and was celebrated with vivacious
dynamism. Floral accessories and ornaments adorned by young girls and ladies in
complete harmony with their attires made the event a memorable one.

On this occasion special performances by Mallika & Dance troupe which was followed
by well known singers Dilbagh Singh & Nidhi Kohli left the entire atmosphere
spellbound.
The program kicked off with scintillating performance by Mallika & Troupe on rocking
numbers from different Dandiya dance formations to revel the crowd. The dancers
displayed boundless talent & energy on the dance floor with their movements.
Rhythmic tracks like 'Hum to Aise Hain Bhaiya', 'Dhol Baaje', 'Soni De Nakhre' and
many more were played to captivate the crowd, even the revelers joined-in and set an
incredible tempo to the party. Special efforts were made to create a perfect setting
for the occasion to make this event a memorable one.
Dilbagh Singh sang Punjabi and Gujarati folk songs and made everybody dance to his
resonating voice. Nidhi Kohli in all her finery was there to bedazzle the crowd with
her extra ordinary voice and panache.
Nidhi and Dilbagh joined together to add flavour to the evening. A Dance troupe also
accompanied them in their colorful dresses. A stand-up comedian Vijay Bajaj made the
audience laugh with his comic timings.
The ambience of the venue accentuated with the tantalizing lighting & decor. Various
food and handicraft stalls were also being put to raise fund for Bihar Flood Relief
Fund.
On the occasion Aman Verma said that he has a special place in his heart for Delhi,
people here are always full of energy and it feels good to come back to the national
capital. PACE has organised a wonderful event. He seemed to be in full festive mood
and enjoyed every bit of the occasion.
During the Dilli Dandiya everyone seemed to be in the festive mood. Binti Kohli from
PACE also seemed to be satisfied with the response of the people. She said we
organised the event after the completion of navratras so that the people who keep
fast could also enjoy the event and the various traditional food.
