DirectRooms.com can confirm that the 5th Pan Arab Paediatric Nephrology Association Meeting will take place at the Lebanese Order of Physicians in Beirut between the 6th and the 9th October 2011.

The Paediatric Nephrology Meeting is part of the larger 18th Congress Union of Arab Paediatric Societies. The international composition of the conference will provide delegates with an ideal opportunity for discourse and learning.

Speakers at the meeting will include a range of international specialists in paediatrics, including Anwar Hatoum from Lebanon, speaking about peritoneal sclerosis, Alan Watson from the UK, who will discuss CKD in Adolescence, and Martin Konrad from Germany, talking about discoveries in renal tubular diseases. Organ Donation is another topic that will be extensively covered during the course of this meeting.

Expectations of attendance for the meeting are high and it is therefore advisable that visitors book their accommodation in advance through any of the many Beirut City Centre hotels that are doted around the city.

The Lebanese Order of Physicians is based in Tehwita in Beirut. The city has an international airport and most visitors to the city use a taxicab as their means of transportation. Some visitors enter Lebanon by ferry as the country is situated on the Mediterranean. Lebanon has a reputation as one of the most elegant and cultured cities in the Middle East, and conference delegates will be able to enjoy the many delights that Beirut has to offer.
