Hong Kong visitors can learn more about the rich and innovative history of the local fashion scene at the Fashion Visionaries exhibition that is currently taking place in the region.

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum has collaborated with the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association to launch the event, which commenced on November 5th 2011 and will run until March 12th 2012.

Showcasing the work of iconic Hong Kong designers, film art directors, photographers and illustrators over the last 50 years, the exhibition was first presented during the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and is sure to thrill fashion enthusiasts.

In addition to various photos and illustrations of models and designs, the event also plays hosts to educational activities and fashion parades.

The museum is open from 10:00 to 18:00 local time on Mondays and Wednesdays to Saturdays, and from 10:00 to 19:00 on Sundays and most public holidays.

Tickets cost HK$10 (80p) for adults, but half-price entry is available to students, senior citizens and people with disabilities.

In addition, the admittance charge is waived completely every Wednesday.
