AsiaRooms.com - See Pande Gde Supada's Spiritual Dialogues Exhibition In Bali

Industry: Travel

Famed contemporary artist Pande Gde Supada is to see his work showcased in a new exhibition called Spiritual Dialogues in Bali from December 1st 2011.

The event takes place at the local Ganesha Gallery and will run until January 9th 2012, presenting a range of thought-provoking pieces that examine the theme of meditation.

Through his work, Supada aims to capture the difficulties and doubts that can come from attempting to unify the supernatural and mundane worlds, while hinting at the state of nirvana that can be achieved through enlightenment.

He examines themes that are deeply ingrained in the fabric of Balinese culture, such as motherhood and nature, through raw images, smooth lines and enigmatic texturing.

The organisers of the event said in a statement: "As always, the newest series is a cause for celebration of the evolving creativity of this talented artist and influential teacher."

Opening hours for the Ganesha Gallery are from 09:00 to 18:00 local time each day.

The venue is noted for presenting art that showcases different views on Bali from various artists, with the works of local and international figures on display.

Art lovers can choose from a generous array of Bali hotels at AsiaRooms.com, including the Jayakarta Bali.
