Kuala Lumpur is to play host to a performance by the world-famous Simple Plan on January 14th 2012, as part of the band's Get Your Heart On Tour.

The Canadian pop punk act will be thrilling crowds at the KL Live venue at Jalan Sultan Ismail, performing tracks from their latest album Get Your Heart On!, which is proving a hit around the world.

Simple Plan have been performing since 1999 and have sold more than seven million records to date, with popular singles including I'd Do Anything, Welcome to My Life, Addicted and Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?).

They have been voted favourite Canadian band five times by viewers of the MuchMusic Video Awards, while other accolades include the 2006 JUNO Fan Choice Award and the 2005 Teen Choice Award.

Simple Plan's performance will get started at 20:30 local time on the night, with free standing tickets available for as little as 98 ringgits (£19.80).

Upper tier passes cost 188 ringgits, while the most expensive VIP tickets are priced at 258 ringgits.
